At the end of King Kong, Kong is taken to New York, and there’s this big theater marquee reading “KONG! THE EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD”. The theater is packed as the curtain rises and there’s Kong. The photographers start taking pictures and the flashbulbs freak Kong out and he breaks his chains and escapes. I’m just curious, had he not broken the chains… What was the show?
